Mrs. William J. Duffy
The funeral of Mrs. Rose C. (Benoit) Duffy, wife of William J. Duffy, 67 Winthrop street, was held this morning from the funeral home, 403 Main street. A solemn high mass of requiem was sung in St. Patrick's church by Rev. William Donovan of the Gate of Heaven church in South Boston, celebrant; Rev. Jmes E. Whittier, deacon; and Rev. J. W. Riley, sub-deacon. Seated in the sanctuary was Rev. Cornelius Heery of the Holy Family church in Rockland. Prayers at the graveside in Calvary cemetery were said by Fr. Donovan, Fr. Heery and Fr. Riley. Miss Fannie Ciampa had charge of music. Many attended the mass and an extra car was required for the flowers.
