Obituary for Thomas I Adams:

Thomas I. Adams died at the home of his son, Levi J. Adams, McSherrystown, about 1:15 o'clock Thursday morning from a complication of diseases of several weeks. His age was 67 years, 4 months, and 12 days. He was a son of the late Jacob Adams and wife, of Brushtown. For a period of about 50 years he carried on blacksmithing at Brushtown and worked his trade up until a few weeks before his death. He was married to Miss Anna Stonesifer, whose death occurred eleven years ago. Surviving are the following children: Levi J. Adams, with whom he resided; Lewis Adams, of Hanover; Henry Adams, of near Mount Rock; George Adams, of McSherrystown; Emanuel Adams, of New Oxford; One brother, George Adams, of Hanover; and 21 grandchildren also survive. Funeral Saturday, Nov. 8, from St. Mary's church, McSherrystown. Requiem high mass will be observed, Rev. L. Aug. Reudter officiating. Interment in the family lot in Conewago Chapel cemetery.
