WEST HAMLIN - Mrs. Edith Regina Adkins, 53, of West Hamlin, died Thursday in a Charleston hospital after a long illness. Surviving: husband Ardon; sons, Bobby of Huntington, James, Cecil and Roger of West Hamlin; daughters, Mrs. Rose Pack of Hamlin, Patricia Tasguino of Tridelphia, Mrs. Joyce Taybor of Virginia; brothers, Harold Plumley of Winston-Salem, N.C., Enslow Plumley of Florida; stepmother, Mrs. Lucy Plumley of Hamlin. Service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, with the Rev. William Atkinson officiating. Burial will be in Walker Adkins Cemetery. Friends may call today from 6 to 9 o.m. at the funeral home.
