Doc was born in Medulla on June 23, 1930 to Perry & Lula (Hood) Kirkland. Doc lived in Medulla all his life. Doc was a farmer and a member of Ardella Baptist Church.
Doc is preceded in death by his brother Ray and sister Evelyn. Doc is survived by his brothers Everette, Vernon, Tommy & Donald, sister's Sue, Joyce, Agnes & Linda, many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Visitation will be Thurs. November 4, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Seigler Funeral Home-Chapel-Hwy. 60 E. Mulberry. Funeral services will be Fri. November 5, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Ardella Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Hope Hospice-1525 Lakeland Hills Blvd. Lakeland, FL. 33805 or Achievement Academy for Children with special needs- 716 E.
