Bertha M. Baker, of the Village at Morrisons Cove, formerly of New Enterprise, died Monday. She was born in Pavia, daughter of John and Sarah J. Berkey Mowry. She married Orville E. Baker May 6, 1945. He died in 1996. She is survived by two daughters: Freda M. Conner and Hilda J. Wilkins; two sons: E. Andrew and John D.; a sister, Laura Claar; and eight grandchildren.
