Edna Mae Deal, 80, of Mount Leonard, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 19, 1992, at Fitzgibbon Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Rev. Roger V. Wreath will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Fitzgibbon Hospital.
Born Jan. 14, 1912, in Lafayette County, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Louis and Pauline Tempel Neiman. On April 12, 1946, she married John Huston Deal, who preceded her in death Oct. 24, 1974. She lived in Saline County most of her life. She was a retired school teacher and taught in Saline and Lafayette counties and Coolidge, Ariz. She was a member of Blackburn Chapter 392 Order of the Eastern Star and a past worthy matron. She was a graduate of Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg, Mo. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, John H.A. Deal and Robert M. Deal of the home; and a stepdaughter, Betty Lusk, of Milton Freewater, Ore.
