Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Ellen O'Dell, 82, route three, Red Oak, were held today at the Perryman chapel with the Rev. Lloyd A. Latta officiating.

She died at her home Monday, after an extended illness.

Music was by Mrs. Minnie Kidwell, soloist, with Mrs. Ray Cozad at the organ. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery, Red Oak.

The daughter of James and Mary Godsey, she was born February 13, 1872, at Little Rock, Arkansas. She was married in Carroll County, Missouri in 1890 to Evan O'Dell who died in 1925. For the past 24 years, she had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Roy Zuber.

Also surviving are four sons, Homer, John, Claude, and Lee, all of Brookfield, MO; 24 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters.
