He married Elizabeth Amy Hillard (1878-1968) on September 4, 1912 in Butler County, Pennsylvania. They resided at Kohlmeyer Corners, two miles west of Eau Claire, in Venango Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania for many years. Tom was a farmer all of his life. He was very good with horses and had a great knowledge of doctoring sick horses and cattle. He also worked in the oil fields and was a teamster.

Thomas Lester Kohlmeyer, 74, of Eau Claire, died early this morning.
The son of Oliver and Emma Eakins Kohlmeyer, he was born Jan. 12, 1890, in Venango Township, Butler County.
He was married to Elizabeth Hilliard of Van, Pa.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Hilliard Kohlmeyer of Van, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Wilda) Caldwell of Verona; a son, Kenneth H. Kohlmeyer of Van, Pa. four grandchildren; a sister Mrs. J. H. Haney of Youngstown, Ohio; and a number of Nieces and nephews.
KOHLMEYER - Friends of Thomas Lester Kohlmeyer of Eau Claire, who died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1964, will be received at the Criswell Funeral Home, Emlenton, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Private funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the funeral home, with the Rev. Benjamin Jenkins, of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Eau Claire Cemetery, Arrangements by Criswell.
