Steven Michael Baily, 60, rural Lincoln, Lancaster County, NE. Steven & his wife Carolyn died Sunday (8-10-08)from a tragic death - Murder.

Steve was born in Omaha, NE (9-20-1947) to Frank and Florence Baily. He was a computer technician for Datatronics. Member: Ashland Amateur Radio Club; Extra Class Radio Operator. N0US.

Steven was married to Carolyn Joyce Mirus in 1969.

Steve and Carolyn were both licensed Amateur Radio Operators, Steve's call was N0US, and Carolyn's was N0LAL.

Steve enjoyed attending many "Hamfests" to see what treasures he could find. He spent many hours with great enjoyment in his ham radio hobby and volunteered his time in helping maintain the Ashland repeater.

They are survived by: daughter & son-in-law; Heather & Greg Burns, Olympia, WA; daughter Jennifer Baily, NY, NY; grandchildren, James & Jacquelyn Burns;a brother in Omaha, NE; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Albert "Bud" and Cora Mirus, Jr., Campbellsville, Kentucky; father-in-law, Albert Mirus, Sr., Lousiville, Kentucky, step-father-in-law; Bob Shepard, Washington, Ind., nieces, nephews, and many friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Florence Baily, and mother-in-law Mary.
