Carolyn Joyce Baily, 61, rural Lincoln, Lancaster County, NE. Carolyn and her husband Steven died Sunday (8-10-08) a tragic death-Murder.
Carolyn was born in Louisville, KY on 9-14-1946 to Albert and Mary (O'Neal) Mirus, Sr. Carolyn was a homemaker, and a member of the Ashland Amateur Radio Club; (N0LAL); a 4-H leader; numerous kennel clubs; and a Delta Society Volunteer.
Carolyn had two boxers that she loved dearly - "Annie" & "Buddy".
Carolyn and Steve loved Amateur Radio, they were both licensed operators, Carolyn was N0LAL, and Steve was N0US.
Carolyn was married to Steven Michael Baily in 1969.
The Baily's are survived by: daughter & son-in-law; Heather and Greg Burns, Olympia, WA; daughter Jennifer Baily, NY, NY; grandchildren, James and Jacquelyn Burns; brother, sister-in-law Albert "Bud" and Cora Mirus, Jr., Campbellsville, Kentucky, father, Albert Mirus, Sr., Louisville, Kentucky, step-father, Bob Shepard, Washington, Ind.; nieces, nephews. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Doug and Jennifer Baily, Omaha, NE. and many friends. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Mary, and her In-Laws Frank and Florence Baily.
