Funeral rites for Aubery Lenwood Pierce, 69 of Lucedale were held May 5 at 3 p.m. at George County Funeral Home.
He was born in Wilmer, Ala., and was employed at first National Bank. He was also retired from the U.S. Air Force. He died May 2 at Mobile Infirmary.
He is survived by three sons, (one now deceased, Terry Pierce). Also surviving are one brother, three sisters, an aunt (now deceased, Lucille Howell Pierce) and former wife and friend (now deceased, Betty Strahan).
Services were conducted by Rev. Homer Bexley. Interment was in the Wilmer City Cemetery with George County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were John O'Neal, Ron Kirkwood, Vernon Howell, Scott Hicks, Andrew McNeill and Milton Driskell.
