William E. Hynes, 6371 Estrelle St., Mt. Morris, age 78, died Wednesday, Oct 15, 1952, at Hynds Convalescent Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, Oct 18, 1952 from Chapel of the Chimes, Brown Funeral Home, Elder H Rutherford officiating. Burial in Grace Lawn Cemetery. Mr Hynes will lie in state at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd. Death was due to complications following an illness of 2 years. He was born in New York State, October 29, 1873, lived in Flint for the last 42 years. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving are: 3 sons, Earl and Ivan, both of Mt. Morris, Walter of Flint: 5 daughters, Mrs. Cora Glassford of Swartz Creek, Mrs. Mamie Grieve and Mrs. Bertha Thibeaut both of Flint, Mrs. Bessie Samson and Mrs. Iva Zuback both of Mt. Morris; 2 brothers, Orville of Wheeler, Mich, Charles of East Lansing; 24 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
