His parents Thomas Bass -Born 9 Aug 1790, Virginia, USA. Died -2 Jun 1850, Washington County, Missouri. Nancy Jane Compton -Born 28 Dec 1796, Mercer, Co.,Kentucky, died 23 Sept 1874, Washington Co., Missouri. He died at the Soldiers home hospital Boise, Idaho. He has been member of the Soldier home for the past 10 years. He was buried at Silent Camp with Civil War Veterans. During the Civil War he served as Corporal in Company E Fiftieth Missouri Infanty. He was survived by two sons Thomas Bass who live in Wood Cross, Utah, George Bass who live in Riverton, Utah and a daughter Ada (Bass) Skewes who live in Boise, Idaho. His wife Frances (Fannie)(Benson) Bass died May 10, 1909 and buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello, Idaho.
