Half-Sister of Nancy Ellen, Samuel J., Louisa Jennie and Millie Gasaway, children of her mother's sister, her Aunt Amelia (Bird) Gasaway.

Wife of William F. Gottberg, whom she married on Christmas day of 1890, she is listed as Gazaway on the Marriage Certificate.

Mother of Nine Children, Hattie (Zessin), Herbert, Sylvan, Oscar, James, May (Kegler), Mary (Wood), Bertha (Wingfield) and William M. Gottberg.

Mrs. Ida Gottberg, aged 80, Petit Jean Mountain died in Winfield, Kans., Saturday, June 24, at 9:45 a.m.. She was born in Atlanta, GA., September 24, 1869. Mrs. Gottberg is survived by five sons, Herb Gottberg of Alberta, Canada, Sylvan of North Little Rock, Oscar of Lancaster, Calif., James of Winfield, Kans., and William Gottberg of Madison, Nebr.; four daughters, Mrs. Herman Zessin of Lincoln, Nebr., Mrs. Earl Kegler of Morrilton, Mrs. Max Wood, Lexington, Okla., and Mrs. Albert Wingfield of Alexander, Ark.; one brother, Dave Gassaway of Dumas; 22 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted today (Thursday) at the Lutheran Church on Petit Jean Mountain. Burial will be in the Petit Jean Cemetery.
