Thomas Clegg Myers was born in Farmington, Davis, Utah to Ambrose Myers and Mary Clegg. He was a guard at the State Industrial School in Ogden, Utah. He married Caroline Whitear 27 August 1891 Logan, Cache, Utah. The had five children: Thomas Eli, Myrtle Elsie, Cloyd Eugene, Wealtha Caroline, and Dortha. He died at the Industrial School on December 25th 1912 during a school program of a massive heart attack. He was 42 years old.
