Brokerage Firm Operator Is Dead
Thomas H. Adkins, 63, operator of the Adkins Brokerage Company in the T. & P. Terminal Warehouse at Fort Worth, was buried Thursday in the Arlington Cemetery after services at 2 p.m. at the Arlington Baptist Church.
Rev. Kermit Melugin was in charge of the service.
Mr. Adkins, who died early Wednesday at his home in Arlington of a heart attack, had been a resident of Arlington for 30 years. He operated the brokerage company for 15 years.
Surviving are his widow; three sons, Leroy, Fred and Thomas H. Adkins, Jr., and a daughter, Virginia Adkins, all of Arlington; two brothers, William and Roscoe Adkins of Alabama, and two sisters, Mrs. J. M. Beard of Arlington and Mrs. William Green of Alabama.
