Mrs. Magruder had worked for more than 30 years for Kankakee School District. She was born the daughter of Ambrose and Vernette Lambert Regnier. Her husband, Louis Magruder, whom she married Aug. 6, 1955, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Beaverville, is deceased. She loved hanging out in the yard and visiting with friends and neighbors.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Steven Magruder of Kankakee, Richard and Barbara Magruder of Lansing, Donald and Cornella Magruder of Kankakee; six grandchildren; two brothers, Lavon Regnier of Manteno, Robert Regnier of Kankakee; and special friend, Paula Hakim.
Deceased is one granddaughter, Kelly Magruder.
