Frances Rowan Aardal, 70, Parkville, MO, died Monday, May 20, 1991, at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Survivors include her husband, Al, of the home; a daughter, Joyce Stamper of St. Louis, MO; a son, Don Porter Cox of Van Nuys, CA; a stepson, Al Aardal, Jr. of the state of California; her mother, Gladys Rowan, Cameron, MO; two brothers, Charles Rowan of Adrian, Mo, and Dale Rowan of Leeton, MO; five sisters, Donna Caselman of Kinston, Mo, Anna Coralee Boettcher of Gravois Mills, MO, Doris Gilbert of Salina, KS, Marilyn Peterson of Hilister, TX, and Ruby Maxine Tedlock of Kansas City; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Robert Cox.
The body has been cremated. There will be a memorial service Saturday, May 25, at 2 p.m. at Northland Cathedral on I-29 East North Oak Trafficway in North Kansas City. A graveside service will be held later at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Zach Wheat Memorial Fund.
