Samuel Armstrong, a well known resident of this county, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. A.E. Umstead, of Swenoda, yesterday afternoon at three o'clock after a lingering illness. Deceased is aged about eight-two years and is survived by one son, D.A. Armstrong, of Cheney, Kansas and the daughter above mentioned. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at ten o'clock. Interment in the Swenoda cemetery.
