RICHLAND TWP. RESIDENT DIES
Mrs. Esther Barber, 81, widow of William H. Barber expired at her home in Richland township at 6 o'clock Tuesday evening. She had been in failing health the past year and a half and bedfast since February.
The deceased was born in Posey township, Franklin county, April 29, 1860, the daughter of Amos and Olive Weston Ailes. She had spent all her life in Franklin and Rush counties.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Hopewell church near Andersonville Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Walter Crawley will officiate and interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery.
