DOWAGIAC - Geneva Douglas Hunter, 76, was born February 10, 1932 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Jessie and Florida (Perry) Piggie.

married Henry Hunter in 1992 and he precedes her in death.

Geneva was a hard worker, working jobs ranging from farm work, to working at Jessup Door to being a day care provider which she was active until the time of her recent illness.

Geneva was a member of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and served on the Mother Board for many years. She served as a member of the church choir and the kitchen committee.

Geneva enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and her grandchildren. She also liked going to Gospel plays, church gala functions and dressing for the occasion. She enjoyed fine clothes.
