Leo and Shirley Molder were married Jan 12, 1968. They were the parents of 5 children and made their home in the Kansas City area. Leo retired from General Motors after 30 years and they moved to this area to be near Shirley's family. Shirley passed away January 13, 1995.
Leo was a member of the American Legion. He loved to play cards with his friends, going fishing, and spending time outdoors. He was a great storyteller. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and was very generous with his time and resources.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Shirley; brothers Claude, Pete, Ramond, Kenny and Norman Teer.
Leo is survived by twin sons Larry Teer of Wheatland and Terry Teer of Kansas City; daughters Debbie Gray and Joni Striplin of Kansas City, Gina Sheppeck of Rondo; brother Herbert Teer of Adel, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Leo Teer will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Murray Funeral Home in Humansville. Burial with full military honors will immediately follow at Alder Cemetery near Stockton. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Sunday, October 13th at the funeral home.
