ADA F. (nee DUTE) BRAUN

Final services for Mrs. Philip Braun (Ada F.) 77, of 278 Franklin Avenue, will be held this Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. in the Garland Funeral Home. Death early Wednesday morning at the Amherst Manor Nursing home followed a brief illness.

Mrs. Braun was born in Amherst, May 16, 1886, and had resided here for her entire life. She was a member of Amherst Sorosis.

Survivors include her husband, Philip to whom she was married 54 years, one son, Paul Braun, of Elyria and one daughter, Mrs. Betty Hobill of Knoxville, Tenn.; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grand child. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Dute.

Friends will be received at the Garland Funeral Home from 7:30 pm. to 9:00 pm. on Thursday and Friday evening. The casket will remain closed. Rev. Ned H. Martin, pastor of the Congregational Church will officiate at the services on Saturday. After cremation the ashes will be interred in the family plot at Cleveland Street Cemetery.
