He married Irene Standridge on June 5, 1954 at Russellville, Arkansas. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a timber worker. He was a member of the Scottsville Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Richard, Homer, Leon, and George Ford, and 3 sisters, Louise Yancy, Anna Mae Rudder, and Sina Hefley. Survivors include his wife, Irene Ford, of Dover, AR; 2 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Gordon and Marianne Ford of Dover, AR, Andy and Angel Ford of Dover, AR; 3 daughters and 3 sons-in-law, Kathy and Robert Campbell of Dover, AR, Yvonne and Arliss Woods of Jasper, AR, and Martha and Danny Criss of Wesley, AR; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10 am Monday, January 5, 2004 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Arnold Humphrey and Rev. Stanley Taylor will officiate.
