John S. Stephens, 77, of Saucon Manor, Hellertown, formerly of Lower Saucon Township, died Sunday, Oct. 28, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Elaine (Massini) Stephens. He worked for Stephens Garage, Lower Saucon Township, before retiring. Previously, he worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. Born in Hellertown, he was a son of the late John Stephens and Ella (Seigfried) Heil. He was an associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police and a member of the Moose Lodge, Sellersville. Survivors: Wife; daughters, Linda L. and Tammy L., both of Allentown; brothers, Leroy of Bethlehem, Daniel Eisenhart in Florida; sisters, Evelyn Ryan, Doris Holley and Florence Sharer, all of Bethlehem, Dolores Hassick and Alice Wagner, both of Hellertown; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carol A., in May.
