Alexander Allan, the 12 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allan, the well known ranch people, was found dead in a small pond near the house, yesterday afternoon. Death was not due to drowning but to heart failure, the boy having bad inflammatory rheumatism, which settled into his heart and he was probably overcome as he was getting into the boat. The parents have the profound sympathy of the entire community.
