Annie B. Turner, 85 of Cheyenne, died Sept. 20 in Cheyenne.
She was born May 21, 1916, in Selma, Ala.
Mrs. Turner married Amos Turner on Aug. 25, 1949 in Laramie.
She was a librarian with the Laramie County Library System.
Mrs. Turner was a member of the Laramie County Democratic Women's Club, Laramie County Democratic Central Committee, the Women's Auxiliary of American Legion Carter-Brown Post 83, a founding member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church, Western States Baptist Convention Women's Auxiliary president 1989-90 and Woman of the Year 1993, Unity Missionary Baptist Church Senior Mission president 1987-92, Organizer of Cheyenne Model Cities.
She is survived by her husband Amos Turner of Cheyenne; sons Toriano Amos Hasty and George Leonard Hasty Jr., both of Kansas City, Mo.; daughter, Lucinda Hasty of Cheyenne; several nieces and nephews; and two grandchildren
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lula Robinson; brothers, William Robison and John Robinson; sisters, Fannie Mae Jackson and Lucinda Gowen
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Schrader Chapel with pastor Ernest Fitzhugh officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Abe Stevenson, Johnny Davis, Alfred Grasty, James Robinson, James Smith and Floyd Watson Jr.
