Sandra Lea Billenwillms, 59, the daughter of Lawrence F. and Thelma M. (Bayes) Read, was born July 1, 1939, in Mills County, Iowa. She died Friday at Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital, Superior. She moved with her family to Bellevue, and graduated from Bellevue High School. At Hastings, she was employed at a bank and later worked as a bookkeeper for the local bakery company. On March 28, 1964 she married Larry Billenwillms at Des Moines, Iowa. This union was blessed with two sons, Steven and Scott. They made their home farming north of Burr Oak. For six years, Sandy owned and operated Billies Bar & Grill in Burr Oak. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Dolores Burbridge. Survivors include her husband, Burr Oak; sons Steve, Burr Oak and Scott, Mankato; three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Richard Lozier (Corlee), Tucson, Ariz. Services were Monday from the Northbranch Friends Church with the Revs. Joe Vance and Lester Snyder officiating. Interment was in the Burr Oak Cemetery. The Simonsen-Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
