Queenie Elizabeth Ebbert was the daughter of Dr. Allen P. and Elizabeth (Wagner) Ebbert. She married Alphonso Matthews on 18 July 1909 at St. Paul's Methodist Church in Atlanta. Queenie had two sons and two daughters before she tragically died at the age of 24. She was survived by her husband, her children, her mother, and her brother Jonathan Ebbert.
