Maggie was the daughter of Jacob (1841-1909) and Elizabeth 'Eliza' Geiss (1847-1916) Young.

Maggie's siblings (12): 1. William Michael Young Sr (1868-1963); 2. John Frederick Young (1869-1962); 3. Elizabeth Christina 'Lizzie' Michelfelder (1871-1963); 4. Anna Mary Dehne (1872-1939); 5. Bertha Julia 'Bert' Fouts (1874-1956); 6. Christian Francis 'Christy' 'Frank' Young (1876-1945); 7. Catherine Louisa 'Kate' Drinkut (1878-1938); 8. Lolo (nmn) Eckel (1880-1963); 9. Caroline Ida 'Carrie' Meany (1881-1904); 10. Susan Leona 'Leo' Akard (1884-1932); 11. Emma Helena Young (1888-1896) and 12. Georgia Henrietta Akard (1890-1974).

The Jacob Young family moved from Lancaster, Ohio to Indianapolis, Indiana about 1893. (They were removed from the St Peter's Lutheran Church rolls in Lancaster on January 1893 and there was a letter of transfer dated April 2, 1893 to St Mark's Lutheran Church in Indianapolis.)

She married Daniel Joseph Maloney (1881-1946) May 31, 1909 in Indianapolis, Marion Co, Indiana. (Maggie's father died May 18, 1909.) Maggie and Dan met at Kahn's Tailoring where they both worked.

Their children: Margaret Elizabeth Maloney (1910-1998); John Daniel Maloney (1912-1912); Anna Josephine Radican (1913-1980); Robert William Maloney (1915-1915); Florence 'Kathleen Clark (1916-1984); James Daniel Maloney 1919-1998) and William John Maloney (1921-2014).

After her husband died in May of 1946 Maggie worked at Kent Tailoring for a while as a seamstress.

She died at age 78 years 8 months 14 days.
