GREENSBORO — Ruby M. Brewer, 89, of Britthaven, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2008, at Moses Cone Hospital.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 21,at Lakeview Memorial Park with the Rev. Joe Chandler officiating.
Ruby worked as a spinner at Cone Mill for many years and was a former member of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, the late Jasper and Annie Harris Brewer; brothers, Melos Brewer, Raymond Brewer, and Larry Brewer; sisters, Joyce Caviness, and Virgie Page.
She is survived by her brother, Melvin Brewer; sisters, Virginia Cobb, Genevia Clonch and Patsy Goad all of Greensboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel is assisting the Brewer Family.
