Funeral Services for Mr. Walter Jeff Cowdrey, 65, of 1420 S. 11th Ave., Yakima, who died June 3 and Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, will be held Wednesday, June 6 at 1:00 PM in Shaw and Sons Funeral Chapel, Father Anthony S. Hanick copastor of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will be in Tahoma Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John D Cowdrey, Donald G. Cowdrey, David J. Cowdrey, Edward Kerl, John S. Cowdrey, John E. Moore, George A. Moore and Russell Bailey. The family suggests that if desired memorials may be made to the favorite charity of the donor in memory of Mr. Cowdrey.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Cowdrey of Yakima, three sons, John Dee Cowdrey of La Grande, Oregon, David J. Cowdrey of Clallam Bay,Wn., Donald G. Cowdrey of Kirkland,Wn, one brother John S. Cowdrey of
Tieton, four sisters, Mrs. Cecilia Repp and Mrs. Clara
Barnwell, both of Selah, Mrs. Virginia Kerl of Wiley City and Mrs. Lucille Naasz of Spokane. Three grandchildren, Stephen and Michael Cowdrey, both of La Grande, Oregon, and Cara Lynn Cowdrey of Clallam Bay Wa.
