Mr. Presley died Tues., July 26, 2005, at his home in Monterey.
He was born Dec. 22, 1916 in Bloomington Springs to the late Ewin and Annie Stone Presley. A retired, self-employed carpenter and painter, he was a World War II Army veteran and attended Monterey Church of the Nazarene.
His family includes his wife of nearly 57 years, Anna Matheney Presley; two daughters and sons-in law, Gail and Billy Jones and Sharon and Eugene Buckner, all of Monterey;two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Cathy Presley of Elizabethtown, KY, and Steve and Gloria Presley of Monterey; one sister, Gerene Lee of Dayton, OH; three brothers, Truman Presley of Battle Creek, MI, Bill Presley of Cookville and Paul Presley of Carthage; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
