Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pierz, for Tara Marie Herold, 40, who died Thursday at St. Cloud Hospital.Burial will be in the parish cemetery.Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Shelley-Virnig Funeral Chapel. St Michael's Christian Mothers will pray at 7 tonight at the funeral home in Pierz followed by parish prayers at 8:30.
Tara Herold was born in Little Falls to Arthur and Rosemary Preimesberger. She worked as a bartender in Pierz. She married Rick Herold on Aug. 29, 1986, in Little Falls. The couple lived in Buckman. She began work as a cook for the Pierz school district in 1990. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Buckman, and Christian Mothers.
Survivors include her husband; daughter and son, Jessica and Scott of Buckman; parents, of Pierz; sisters and brothers, Tama 'Tami' of Maple Grove, Tally Moehle of Sauk Rapids, Trudee of Minneapolis, Tim of New Hope and Todd of Pierz; and one grandchild.
