Final Rites for Mrs.Ida M.Hoggatt Held Today
Mrs. Ida M. Hoggatt, 29, of 6120 Noble Ave., Hammond, died at 1:30 a.m. in her home after a lingering illness. She was a resident of Hammond and Whiting for seven years.
Surviving are her husband, Roland; one daughter, Nadine; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Walker of Petersburg, Ind.; three brothers, Elvin and Ivan Walker of Cedar Lake and Elmer Walker of Petersburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Leona Doidge of Hammond and Doris Walker of Petersburg.
Short funeral services were held this afternoon in the Christian church at Whiting with Rev. H.D. Woodruff. The body will be at Burns' funeral home until 7 p.m. today when it will be taken to Vincennes, Ind., for burial.
