Lee Edmondson Laid to Rest
Funeral services for Albert Lee Edmondson of Woodland, who was killed instantly in a two car collision on a rural road in the Atlanta community Friday morning, were held at 2 pm, Sunday, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery with Anthony Funeral Home in charge. He was 61.
Mr. Edmondson was a native of Oklahoma but had lived in Woodland for the past 35 years. He was a farmer and landowner and a member of the Vardaman Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. James Q. T. Bryant of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Carmen Wiggs and Mrs. J. D. Whittle, Jr., and two brothers, Silas C. and Selmer H. Edmondson, all of Vardaman.
