Ronald B. Hamman was born in Cass Township, Huntingdon County on August 5, 1936. He was the son of the late Earl G. and Mary I. Hershey Hamman.

He had 5 daughters and 3 stepsons.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 14 years and was a member of The Fulton Overseas Veteran Association, McConnellsburg. He was primarily a truck driver during his lifetime and during his later years, a cook at various restaurants, including Hamman's Restaurant in Three Springs, which he owned.

He passed away Friday, April 14, 2006 at his home in Dublin Township, Huntingdon County. He is buried at Cherry Grove Cemetery, Three Springs beside his parents.
