Mrs. Edna A. Meriwether, 74, of 814 Vine St., died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday in the St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born September 16, 1886, in Boone County, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Griffin) Sutton. Her husband, Roy E. Meriwether, died in 1932.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Isa Broadlick, of Indianapolis; and Mrs. Cora Bundy, of Thorntown; a brother, Osa Sutton of Stockwell; and a niece, Mrs. John McQuaid, of 2003 High st.

She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of Railroad Firemen.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the McClosky-Hamilton-Kahle Funeral Home, the Rev. Raymond Belcher officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m.
