"Gertie" was a character that is for sure! She loved yard sales, bowling, playing cards and playing games with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren. She was born on Christmas and we always had to wrap her presents for "her birthday" in birthday paper and even get her a seperate birthday card! Like I said she was a character! She is sadly missed by her five children...Laura, Roger, Tom, Larry and Donna as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Your "little football player"--(Lisa Christine Maas 1989-2008) has joined you in heaven. While we miss you both so very much I am glad she has gotten a chance to meet you so she will see where some of her "spirit" came from.
