STEPHENS, JC, 57, of Midwest City, passed away on April 2, 1993. He was born July 29, 1935 in Boggy Depot, Oklahoma. He worked for 20 years at Unit Parts. The last 18 years, JC was a self-employed newspaper contractor for the Daily Oklahoman on Tinker AFB.
He was a very loving, caring and devoted husband, father and grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean of the home and a grandson, Jeramiah Baskeyfield of the home; 3 daughters, Deborah Lambert of Choctaw, Jean Forrest of Richmond, Va., Lisa Blankenship of Newalla; 4 step-daughters, Wanda Deen of Lelia Lake, Tx, Patsy Clubb of Midwest City, Kim Baskeyfield of OKC and Dyna Lucas of Del City; 4 step sons, Bill Clubb of Guymon, Eddie Clubb of Norman, Jimmy Clubb of Midwest City and Todd King of Midwest City; 3 daughters-in-law and 2 sons-in-law; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; 11 step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle and a brother, Robert Evans. He is also survived by his step-father, G.W. Evans of Midwest City; 7 brothers, Dalton Evans of El Reno, Bill Evans of Newalla, Delbert Evans of Midwest City, George Evans of Midwest City, Doyle Evans of Midwest City, Larry Evans of Midwest City, Glenn Evans of Midwest City; 3 sisters, Shirley Hope of OKC, Carolyn McClure of Newalla, Diana Hickman of Madill; and a lot of nieces and nephews.
Pastor Paul Sharp will officiate the services to be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home on NE 23 in OKC on Monday, April 5, 1993 at 10:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Arlington Memory Gardens.
