Former Salida resident Esther F. Vaughn, age 84, died Saturday, May 15, 1993, in Porter Memorial Hospital in Denver.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday, May 20, at the Lewis and Glenn Funeral Chapel in Salida.
Esther was born August 23, 1908 in Salida the daughter of George and Lucy (Evans) Vaughn. She was a graduate of Salida High School, and made her career as a school teacher and taught in Utah and Nebraska.
Esther had lived in Denver for the past 20 years, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her sister Edith Jones of Salida and many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Salida.
Arrangements are with the Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
