She married Lee Antle April 16, 1934 at Osceola, IA. They moved to Eckles Township, rural Bemidji, and she had lived there since. During World War II she worked as a supervisor at the Firestone defense plant in Los Angeles, CA, until returning to Bemidji in 1945. She worked for the Wards, Sears and S&L Stores in Bemidji, then for Bemidji State University as a cook, retiring after 18 years as head cook. After retiring she had lived on the north end of Lake Bemidji and, since 1986, at Beltrami Nursing Home.
She was a charter member of the Senior Citizens Center, a member and volunteer for the Beltrami Nursing Home Auxiliary and active in its Foster Grandparent program, and a member of the Eckles Township Homemakers Club.
