Sadie married October 3, 1917 to Frank McHaines (1895-about 1940's) - they later divorced - about 1919. They had no children. She took back her maiden name.
Sadie returned home: 1021 Church St. She kept house for her brother, John (Sadie was a twin to John). Her sister, Mary, had also married, but also returned home with her daughter, Ann. Mary worked outside the home.
Their father died in 1923.
Sadie only briefly worked outside the house. During WWII she worked for Curtis Wright on a production line - about 1942 - for 6 to 8 months.
In 1952 her brother, Mickey, divorced and came back home. Brother John died in 1960 and Mickey in 1965. The highway bought the property in 1966 and both Sadie and Mary went to live in an apartment. Mary went to a nursing home in 1974/1975 and died in 1980. Sadie died in the apartment in 1979.
Sadie died at age 85 years 1 month 2 days.
