Elliott Jordan Lewellen, 21, of Ashdown, Ark., died Friday, July 18, 2008, in an Ashdown hospital.
Mr. Lewellen was born May 7, 1987, in St. Louis. He was a student at the University of Arkansas Cossatot Community College and a youth usher and member of Haney Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Ashdown.
Survivors include his parents, Michael E. Lewellen of Winter Garden, Fla., and Merle Williams Lewellen of Ashdown; one brother, Ethan Michael Lewellen of Ashdown; one sister, Brandi Lewellen of Little Rock; his grandparents, the Rev. Herman Lewellen of Jonesboro, Ark., and Mary Williams of Ashdown; and a number of other relatives.
Services were 11 a.m. July 26th at Haney Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Sterling King Jr. officiating. Burial was in Rhodes Cemetery under direction of Lyles Funeral Home.
