He was a food manager for New York State Hospital 25 years, retiring in 1964. He was a member of New Jersey Masonic Lodge and an Army veteran. He was born in Felton, Minn., and lived in Indianapolis 15 years. He was the widower of Marie A. Nicholas.
Survivor: daughter, Marie Cerbone.
