Mrs. Jewel Hudson, 76, of Fayetteville died May 9 in a Fayetteville hospital. She was born Dec. 18, 1905, at St. Paul, the daughter of Elizah D. and Elizabeth Upton Davis. She was the widow of Loyd Hudson, who died in 1981. She was a retired employee of Citizens Laundry in Fayetteville and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She moved to Fayetteville from St. Paul in the early 1930s.
Survivors include a stepson, Taylor Hudson of Arlington, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Bushman of Wenatchee, Wash., and Mrs. Maggie Rosebeary of Rocklin, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Bonnie Bigger, Miss Marie Gabbard and William Gabbard, all of Fayetteville.
Services were Tuesday at Moore's Chapel with the Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Burial was in Mount Comfort Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Frank Luther, Bruce Myers, Larry Spencer, Guy Boydston, Bill Rhine, and Ethridge Rush.
