Verna C. Brush Franklin, 73, Clayton, died October 2, 2006 [at Kindred Hospital South in Greenwood]. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday October 4 at Stilesville, Indiana, Cemetery [with Ron Haun officiating]. Arrangements: Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Verna was a member of the Belleville Methodist Church and past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was married to Sterling Lowell 'Junior' Franklin on April 17 1960. Sterling Franklin, and one son survives her.

Verna was the daughter of Willard R Brush and Edna Witgig.
