BUCK Francine M. (Eicher) On August 27th, 2008, Francine Buck departed for Heaven after a long and difficult battle with breast cancer that began in 1999. She was 59 years old, and passed peacefully at home with all of her children at her side. She sadly leaves behind her devoted, loving husband and best friend of twenty years, William Buck; children, Del (Andrea) Beilstein, Heather (Don) Lewis, Danielle (Mark) Poling, and Mikaela Jo Buck; grandchildren, Caleb, Tanner, Caden and Kegan Beilstein, Austin and Schyler Koback and Gentrie Lewis, Raquel Poling, and her first yet-to-be-named great-grand-child. They will definitely miss their "Noni". Francine is also survived by her brothers, Chuck Eicher (Carleen) who lives in Rindge, New Hampshire and Terry Eicher (Charlotte) who lives in Casa Grande, Arizona, and her mother-in-law, Harriett Buck of Holland, Ohio. Francine was employed at St. Luke's Hospital for the last ten years. She truly loved her job and the caring, wonderful people she worked with at the hospital and felt as though she was part of a second loving family there. Previously, Francine was a school bus driver for Springfield Local Schools, where she and all of her children attended school through the years. Throughout her life, Francine was a genuine and caring person who always put the needs of family and friends before her own, always had time for others, and never lost her priceless sense of humor. Although she was not wealthy by material standards, Francine's life was rich in the things that matter most--friendship, love, joy, compassion, and happiness. Her family is broken-hearted, but greatly comforted by the tremendous outpouring of support and concern they have received from Francine's many friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Francine has generously donated her body to the University of Toledo Medical Center with the hope that a breakthrough will be made in science and that someday no one will have to experience any form of this awful disease. In accordance with Francine's wishes, there will be no formal visitation or public service... funerals were not her "thing". In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to either Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the St. Luke's Hospital Auxiliary Fund. Happy trails, Mom.
