After his divorce in 1952 he moved back to the home place and lived with his siblings: Sadie, John and Mary. John died in 1960, Mickey in 1965. The highway bought the property in 1966 and Sadie and Mary moved to an apartment. Mary went to a nursing home in 1974/1975. Sadie died in 1979 and Mary in 1980.
Mickey died at age 66 years 3 months 17 days.
