Cora L. Nicholas Owen, 86, of 2201 Cason St., formerly of 407 Ferry St., died at 11:15 a. m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, in St. Mary's Health Center.
Born July 6, 1917, in Menagha, Minn., she had resided in Lafayette since 1955.
Mrs. Owen worked at Purdue University for 25 years in their post office, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Delta Sigma Kappa sorority and did volunteer work at the Senior Center.
Surviving are two sons, Billy Owen (wife: Joyce) of Lebanon and James Owen (wife: Eileen) of ..."
